Faith & Freedom Coalition
Engaging the candidates and mobilizing voters. In a crowded Presidential field, giving voters an opportunity to engage directly with the candidates can help encourage voter participation.
The Faith & Freedom Coalition put this idea into action with its Presidential Series of national TeleForum™ events for its members and supporters. Between August 2011 and February 2012, the organization hosted eight events, each featuring a candidate competing in the Republican presidential primaries.
Over the course of their presidential TeleForum™ event series, tens of thousands of voters got the chance to hear from the candidates, ask questions, and participate in a poll designed to identify volunteers for the organization’s voter outreach efforts.
