Faith & Freedom Coalition

Engaging the candidates and mobilizing voters. In a crowded Presidential field, giving voters an opportunity to engage directly with the candidates can help encourage voter participation.

The Faith & Freedom Coalition put this idea into action with its Presidential Series of national TeleForum events for its members and supporters.  Between August 2011 and February 2012, the organization hosted eight events, each featuring a candidate competing in the Republican presidential primaries.

Over the course of their presidential TeleForum event series, tens of thousands of voters got the chance to hear from the candidates, ask questions, and participate in a poll designed to identify volunteers for the organization’s voter outreach efforts.
